Woman hits $12.7 million jackpot at Vegas casino
LAS VEGAS — A woman has hit a $12.7 million jackpot at a Las Vegas resort after putting only $6 into the machine.
International Game Technology officials say the winner, who preferred to remain anonymous, landed the Nevada Megabucks progressive slot jackpot Friday at ARIA Resort & Casino.
The woman says she was excited to share news of the jackpot with her husband, and is looking forward to paying off the home mortgage.
She was visiting Las Vegas for her niece’s birthday, and chose the winning machine by chance.
