Hawaii island entrepreneur Ken Fujiyama estimates he has spent $16 million renovating the Hawaii Volcanoes Naniloa Resort since he took over the lease six years ago. Fujiyama said he has overhauled 166 of the Naniloa’s 385 rooms and made more modest improvements to another 80.
