A 32-year-old man was seriously injured this evening when the mo-ped he was driving collided with a car in Ewa Beach.

The collision happened about 7:30 p.m. on the 91-1000 block of Kaiheenalu Street.

Emergency Medical Services transported the rider to a hospital.

No other injuries were reported.

Also Sunday, a bicyclist was taken to a hospital in serious condition after a collision with a car in Makiki, Emergency Medical Services said. 

The accident happened at the intersection of Kalakaua Avenue and South Beretania Street at about 3 p.m.
