‘CABARET’ OPENS BIG AT DHT 1. Diamond Head Theatre staff member Kathryn Mariko Lee, left, welcomed board members Kelly Sanders, Sharon McPhee and Wendell Wo and theater supporter Paul Unkrur to the pre-show reception for the season-opening production of “Cabaret” Sept. 27 outside the theater. Wo noted that although they had arrived a few minutes early for the 7 p.m. party, many others were already there. “People come early for free food, free alcohol or naked women,” Unkrur replied, adding that the party had two out of three.

The show is the eighth production of “Cabaret” that Rampage has been involved with as an actor, choreographer or director, and his inside-out understanding of it makes the current DHT production “don’t miss” musical theater.

Richardson emceed the luncheon fashion event, Lee provided the play-by-play commentary for the fashion show and Tseu was the show sponsor.
