Motorcyclist killed in Kaneohe guardrail crash ID’d
The Medical Examiner’s Office identified the 23-year-old Kailua man killed in a motorcycle accident on Monday morning as Matthew John Kreber.
Police said Kreber lost control of his 2008 green Triumph motorcycle at about 7:31 a.m., and it struck the guardrail on the Kamehameha Highway onramp to the H-3 freeway in Kaneohe.
Police said the motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. The Medical Examiner’s Office said Kreber died of head injuries due to the accident.
Speed was a factor in the crash, police said. Kreber was wearing a helmet.
