The paintings in this section of “Inquiring Finds: The Science Behind the Art” come to life when illuminated by different colors, as if their pigments were being remixed in real time. The works, from left, are: Richard Anuszkiewicz’s “Sol V,” “Multi Triangles” by Karl Benjamin and Anderson O’Meally’s “Juxtaposition I.” The exhibit at Spalding House, the Honolulu Museum of Art’s Makiki site, runs through July 6.
