Within 10 days of announcing the first two Hawaii concerts of her 50-year career, Diana Ross has added two more.

The June 13 show at the Blaisdell Arena sold out Friday, prompting the addition of a show on June 12, also at 7:30 p.m. Tickets go on sale Saturday morning at 9.

The second Oahu show was announced four days after the second Maui show was added. Ross’ June 14 concert at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center is sold out. Tickets are still available for the June 15 show.

"I am blown away by such love and support," Ross said in a statement Friday, a day after her 71st birthday. "I look forward to seeing your beautiful faces; what a great birthday gift you are."

Tickets to the original shows didn’t go on sale to the general public until Friday, but pre-sales limited to Hawaii residents and MACC members started Sunday with an eye toward avoiding last year’s uproar over a large percentage of tickets to Bruno Mars’ shows being shipped out of state.

Tickets for the June 12 show on Oahu will be available at ticketmaster.com, as well as at the Blaisdell Center box office and by phone at 800-745-3000 at 9 a.m. Saturday. Tickets for the Maui show on June 15 can be purchased now at mauiarts.org as well as at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center box office and by phone at 242-7469.

Ross rose to fame in the mid-1960s as lead singer of the Supremes before going solo in 1970. She has sung lead on 18 No. 1 songs and sold more than 50 million albums in the United States.
