Pink Martini vocalist China Forbes, center, relaxed backstage with Tom "Uncle Tom" Moffatt and Hawaii Theatre President Ruth Bolan after the group's "almost sold-out" concert Sunday at the Hawaii Theatre. The group played several songs from its recent album, "Get Happy," along with numbers from previous releases, in a superb 90-minute celebration of international pop music. A Japanese song, "Zundoko-bushi," performed with percussionist Timothy Nishimoto joining Forbes on vocals, was a change-of-pace highlight.
