You don’t have to check the weather forecast to guarantee your special someone a clear view of the heavens at Windward Community College on Valentine’s Day.

The school’s planetarium is again hosting its “Star-Crossed Lovers” Imaginarium show, with seatings at 7 and 8:15 p.m. Tuesday. Admission is $10, which includes flowers and chocolates. A Valentine’s Day photo booth will also be available. Singles and couples are welcome.

“It’s always been very popular,” said college spokeswoman Bonnie Beatson of the special presentation, now in its fourth year. “There’s only 84 seats … (so) we usually have a full house.”

“Star-Crossed Lovers” isn’t for kids, she added. The stories shared are “definitely the adult versions” of ancient Greek mythology. “During this particular presentation, (we) really dive into some of the drama that’s involved with the stars and the Greek gods that play a part in the constellations,” Beatson said.

WCC’s Imaginarium is a full-dome planetarium, offering a 360-degree viewing angle from every seat. Reservations for the Valentine’s Day shows are required; call 235-7433. Free on-campus parking is available.
