Man charged in Diamond Head robbery

A 27-year-old man has been charged for allegedly used a gun stun to rob a 63-year-old man in the Diamond Head area.

Gordon R. Phillips Jr. was charged Friday with second-degree robbery and is being held in lieu of $100,000 bail.

At about 5;35 p.m. May 27, police said the victim accepted a ride from Phillips. When they reached the Diamond Head area, Phillips allegedly stole cash from him while using a stun gun.

Police said Phillips and the victim do not know each other.

Police located Phillips in Waianae Thursday and arrested him.
