The USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70) aircraft carrier arrived at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickham on Wednesday evening after five month deployment to the Western Pacific. The CVN 70 and more than 5,000 crew deported from San Diego Jan. 5. to participate in a series of port calls and defense training exercises which included a month in the Korean Peninsula with a carrier strike group.
