Officials seek to rein in future ‘floatilla’

Above, people hauled a float ashore during the July Fourth “floatilla” Tuesday in Waikiki and lifeguards used rescue watercraft to make several runs transporting intoxicated and injured people back to shore. The Coast Guard recovered more than 100 abandoned inflatables.
