Woman rescued off Manoa Falls Trail

Honolulu Fire Department personnel rescued a 27-year-old woman who injured her leg while hiking this evening in Manoa.

The woman was hiking with a group of four others when 45 minutes on the Manoa Falls Trail, she somehow injured her left leg.

The fire department go the call at 6:32 p.m. and got on scene at 6:44 p.m. One crew hiked to the woman and arrived at 7:32 p.m.

The fire personnel stabilized her and she was airlifted to Manoa District Park where she was transferred to Emergency Medical Services personnel at 8:20 p.m.
