Car sales are declining (“Hawaii auto sales continue to sputter,” Star-Advertiser, Aug. 26). That is great news!

There are too many cars on Oahu, the traffic is often terrible. Parking is often hard to find. There should be a cap on the number of cars allowed on the island and probably in the state.

Lawmakers, please do something positive.
