Motorcyclist in critical condition after crash

A 29-year-old Wahiawa man was in critical condition last night after a motorcycle crash on Fort Weaver Road.

Police said the man was driving a red Harley Davidson motorcycle makai on Fort Weaver Road near Renton Road when he veered and hit the left shoulder just after 11 p.m.

The man was ejected from the motorcyle and suffered head and possible spinal injuries, police said.

Investigators suspect speed and alcohol may be factors in the crash.

The man was not wearing a helmet, police said.

The two left lanes of Fort Weaver Road were closed while police investigated the crash.
