Girl choked by teen in alleged household spat
Police arrested a 17-year-old Waianae boy Saturday for allegedly assaulting a 13-year-old girl in his household two days ago.
According to police, the boy and girl were arguing when the boy struck the girl then choked her until she lost consciousness.
The case was originally classified as a second-degree assault but was later reclassified to misdemeanor assault of a household member.
