Tourist from Texas hurt in Kauai mo-ped crash
A visitor from Texas is recovering from minor injuries following moped crash in Lihue on Friday.
According to Kauai police, the 19-year-old woman was turning out of a car rental lot onto Haoa Street when she apparently lost control of the moped and hit a curb.
The woman sustained minor injuries to her face and shoulder and was taken to Wilcox Memorial Hospital for treatment.
