Driver killed in West Hawaii crash ID’d as Hawi woman
The woman who died Tuesday in a one-vehicle crash at the entrance to the Fairmont Orchid Hotel has been identified as Pamela Sue Gorman, 25, of Hawi, Hawaii County police said Thursday.
Police said witnesses reported that a car driven by Gorman veered off North Kaniku Drive and rammed the side of the resort’s banquet storage facility. Gorman was pinned inside the vehicle and died at the scene.
