Firefighters to resume search for missing hiker on Mariners Ridge


Fire air and ground crews suspended their search at 6:30 p.m. Monday for a 29-year-old missing man who was believed to be on the Mariners Ridge Trail.

Sean Lesley last contacted his family at 5 a.m. Monday saying he was going hiking in the Mariners Ridge area, police said.

Lesley is described as Caucasian-Japanese, 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighing 140 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

Fire Capt. Terry Seelig said police contacted the Fire Department at 2:45 p.m. Monday to assist in the search.

Fire personnel will resume their search at 8 a.m. Tuesday.
