Police arrest suspected boat thief at Honolulu Harbor


Witnesses stopped a suspected boat thief Saturday morning as he was allegedly towing a boat that didn¹t belong to him out of Honolulu Harbor, police said.

The incident happened around 7:30 a.m., and police arrested the man on suspicion of second-degree theft about two hours later, according to police records.

Police said witnesses observed the man towing the boat out of the harbor and confronted him.
