Victim of Maui shooting ‘uncooperative’ with police


Maui police are investigating a shooting, but said the victim is not cooperating with officers.

Police responded to a report of a man shot on Old Mokulele Highway and South Kihei Road at 5:09 p.m.

Officers located the victim, who confirmed that he had been shot, but was “uncooperative with police.”

No weapon was found at the scene and the victim was taken to Maui Community Medical Center for treatment.
