Hawaii County police seek witnesses to terroristic threatening case

Hawaii County police are asking for witnesses to a terroristic threatening incident early Monday morning in Kalapana.

Police said a vehicle was reportedly driving recklessly in the park at the Seaview Estates subdivision entrance and then pulled in front of a Kaliki Kai Street home. A 59-year-old Kalapana woman confronted the vehicle’s occupants. She was reportedly hit in the arm and hand by "propelled objects," police said.

Police ask anyone with information about the vehicle or its occupants to call the police non-emergency number at 935-3311 or contact Detective Todd Pataray at 961-2382 or tpataray@co.hawaii.hi.us

Anonymous tipsters may call CrimeStoppers at 961-8300.
