High surf advisory for east shores of major isles

A high-surf advisory remains in effect for the east shores of the major Hawaiian Islands through Sunday.

Surf along east-facing shores will be 7 to 10 feet, the National Weather Service said. The effected areas include Windward Oahu.

A small craft advisory remains in effect for Hawaiian waters through 6 p.m. Sunday, with seas of 6 to 11 feet. Winds will be 17 to 23 mph, with gusts of 35 mph, the weather service said.
