Award-winning musician’s bass stolen from Kakaako parking garage

A prized bass belonging to award-winning musician Chris Kamaka was stolen from his car this morning at the Keauhou Place public parking garage in Kakaako.

Kamaka Hawaii reports that the theft occurred at about 8:40 a.m. today at the parking garage fronting Pohukaina Street, and that the suspect was in a vehicle described as a silver Honda Odyssey with license plate number SWG573.

Chris Kamaka is the bass player for Na Hoku Hanohano award winning group Ho‘okena.
