Siblings’ squabble leads to Ewa Beach arrest

A 59-year-old man was arrested today after he got into an argument with his brother that turned physical in Ewa Beach, Honolulu police said.

The man fought with his 50-year-old brother at about 11:40 p.m. Saturday, police said.

Officers located the man and arrested him on Kalapu Street at about 1:30 a.m. for investigation of second-degree assault, abuse of a family or household member, and two contempt warrants.

Police released him at about 3:30 a.m. after his brother withdrew the complaint, police said.
