Police arrested a 33-year-old man Tuesday afternoon for allegedly robbing a 47-year-old woman in April in Honolulu.

Police said the man allegedly tried to take the woman’s property April 4 using force when another man intervened.

The suspect then allegedly struck the 54-year-old man who intervened with a dangerous instrument.

Police identified and later arrested the suspect, who was already incarcerated at the Oahu Community Correctional Center, on suspicion of second-degree robbery and second-degree assault.
