Broken hydrant, not rains, flood Kapalama home

Seven Kapalama residents were displaced when their home was flooded when a construction truck damaged a fire hydrant Wednesday night.

The incident occurred at 5:42 p.m. and firefighters were able to shut down the broken fire hydrant 13 minutes later.

The Red Cross was called in to assist the displaced family.
