Coast Guard rescues 3 men off Kauai
The Coast Guard rescued three men today after their boat capsized about a mile off Port Allen, Kauai.
The rescue was initiated following a 3:36 a.m. emergency call.
A 45-foot response boat-medium picked up the three men and brought them to Port Allen. Also deployed were an MH-65 Dolphin helicopter and the Coast Guard’s Rescue 3, Radon 1, and Engine 6 crews.
No injuries were reported.
The rescue was completed by 6 a.m.
