KHON-TV's studio and officers are located in Hawaiki Tower on Piikoi Street, across from the Ala Moana Shopping Center.

KHON-TV parent company New Vision Television will sell its network-affiliated television stations to publicly traded LIN Television Corp. for $330.4 million and the assumption of some debt.

New Vision’s 17 stations are in eight markets: Honolulu, Portland, Ore., Birmingham, Ala., Wichita and Topeka, Kansas, Savannah, Ga., Youngstown, Ohio, and Mason City, Iowa.

New Vision affiliate NV Broadcasting LLC filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy reorganization in July of 2009.

LIN Media is a Rhode Island-based multimedia company with broadcast and online holdings reaching 7.3 percent of U.S. television households. Pending regulatory approvals and other conditions of the transaction closing, LIN will operate or service 50 network affiliate stations in 23 markets, reaching 10.6 percent of U.S. TV households, according to a statement.
