Man arrested in Kapolei shooting released pending investigation
A 24-year-old Kapolei man has been released pending further investigation, following his arrest for a shooting in Kapolei that seriously injured a 23-year-old man, police said.
The suspect was arrested at 11:30 p.m. Saturday on suspicion of second-degree attempted murder. He was released Monday night.
Police said a 23-year-old man was shot several times in chest in Kapolei around 4 p.m. The victim was taken by a friend to the hospital in serious condition.
