Queen’s, Kaiser cited as best in Hawaii

The annual Best Hospitals in America list by U.S. News and World Report cited the Queen’s Medical Center as the best hospital in Hawaii.
The rankings noted Queen’s 10 high-performing specialities, versus five for Kaiser Permanente Moanalua, according to the list released on Tuesday.
But neither hospital was listed as having specialties which made the national rankings.
No neighbor island hospitals made the list. According to U.S. News and World Report’s online coverage, none of them met the standards for strong performance.
