Hawaii hotel is tops in the world, TripAdvisor says

The Four Seasons Resort Hualalai is the No. 1 hotel in the U.S. and the No. 1 luxury hotel in the world, according to the TripAdvisor 2013 Travelers’ Choice Hotel awards.

The Four Seasons Resort Hualalai is the No. 1 hotel in the U.S. and the No. 1 luxury hotel in the world, according to the TripAdvisor 2013 Travelers’ Choice Hotel awards.

The Hawaii island resort beat out storied and iconic hotels and resorts to gain the top rankings, according to TripAdvisor users.

Other top U.S. Hotels winners in Hawaii include the Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea at No. 2 and the Four Seasons Resort Lanai, The Lodge at Koele at No. 6.

The TripAdvisor Travelers' Choice program is now in its 11th year.
