Mililani man charged in choking incident

Prosecutors charged a 33-year-old Mililani man who allegedly choked a woman until she passed out.
Police arrested Joshua Pepin Wednesday on suspicion of felony abuse of a household member.
He and a woman were arguing late Wednesday night at a Honolulu address when he allegedly choked the woman until she lost consciousness, police said.
He was found and later arrested. He was charged Friday night.
