Paramedics responding to a call in Kalihi found a man dead with unexplained trauma on Halona Street early this morning.

The Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the man whose body was found in Kalihi as 20-year-old Jason Oliveros of Aiea.

Police on Friday arrested two men, ages 19 and 20, of Kalihi on suspicion of second-degree murder.

They remained in police custody Saturday and had not been charged.

Paramedics were called to Halona Street at 3 a.m. Friday and treated Oliveros for a trauma wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene about 40 minutes later.

Hawaii News Now reports he had been stabbed multiple times.
