Roommate arrested in Kaimuki assault

Honolulu police arrested a 22-year-old man who allegedly assaulted his 27-year-old roommate in Kaimuki.

Police said the younger man attacked the older man with "a dangerous instrument" last month. The victim sustained “substantial bodily injury,” police said.

After an investigation, police arrested the younger roommate Thursday on suspicion of assault.
