Police investigate serious head injury sustained by Waianae infant
Police are investigating a serious head injury sustained by a Waianae infant Monday.
Police said the 6-day-old boy was brought to a hospital by a 15-year-old girl Wednesday for a routine examination when the attending physician found a serious head injury and admitted him to the hospital for further treatment.
The doctor found the injury appeared to be suspicious and called police and Child Protective Services.
