Police have charged a 46-year-old man who allegedly beat, threatened and detained his 28-year-old Kaneohe girlfriend Tuesday.

According to police, Zodice Madeyski punched the woman, threw her to the ground and threatened to kill her. He also prevented her from escaping and getting help.

Madeyski, who does not have a local address, was arrested on Wednesday and charged Friday with three counts of first-degree terroristic threatening. His bail was set at $75,000.
