A suspected shoplifter is now facing robbery charges after she allegedly assaulted a security officer at a store in the Market City Shopping Center.

Honolulu police said the 22-year-old woman assaulted a loss prevention officer, who was trying to stop her from leaving with concealed merchandise she did not pay for just after 2 p.m. Saturday

Officers arrested the woman, who does not have a local address, at about 3:30 p.m. at the Foodland store in the shopping center, according to police records.

Exactly! Criminals don't just commit one crime. Our judicial system only produces repeat offenders. Extended sentences results in overcrowding of prisons which is ok with me but not the ACLU. We need more citizen involvement. Too bad we're known as the ainokea state.
