Man, 90, dies when shed collapses on him

A storage shed fell on a 90-year-old man man, killing him on Tuesday.

Hawaii County Police said Walter K. Sugi of Honaunau, crawled under the shed to retrieve an item when the building collapsed on him.

The Fire Department responded and brought him out from under the shed.

Sugi was taken to Kona Community Hospital, where he died at 5:40 p.m.

An autopsy will be performed to determine the exact cause of death.
