Alleged gunshots at car tires lead to charges

Police have charged a 32-year-old Kalihi man accused of shooting at a woman's car in Kahuku on Friday.

According to police, Francisco Tipoti fired a 9mm weapon at the tires of a car operated by a 31-year-old woman.

Tipoti turned himself in to police the same day. No injuries were reported in the incident.

He was charged Sunday with first-degree reckless endangerment and a firearms violation. His bail was set at $11,000.
