Man charged in Sack N Save shoplifting case

Police have charged a 57-year-old man in connection with an alleged burglary in Nanakuli on Friday.

According to police, Ronald Notartomaso, who does not have a local address, shoplifted items from a Sack N Save market and was detained by security.

Notartomaso had previously been given a trespasss warning at the store.

Notartomaso was charged Saturday with second-degree burglary. His bail was set at $15,000.

Burglary 2 is a class C felony. What did this guy shoplift to get a felony and how did they prove "intent" which is a critical part of the charge. If you are going to print something try and get all the info or don't print it. The real story is the stuff that was left out.
