Showers and muggy conditions to return

By Star-Advertiser Staff

POSTED:

Moisture making its way into the islands from the east will bring showers and muggy conditions through Monday, the National Weather Service said.

Windward areas of the state can expect increasing showers and leeward locations will see partly cloudy skies in the morning with clouds and showers increasing in the afternoon, the NWS said.

Light winds and increased moisture will allow for muggy conditions and on and off showers to windward areas through Monday.

Tradewinds are expected to return on Tuesday.
