LAST UPDATED: 02:39 p.m. HST, Jun 27, 2014

This story has been corrected. See below.

Police have arrested Oahu Community Correctional Center inmate who failed to return to the facility from a work furlough program on Tuesday evening.

Department of Public Safety spokeswoman Toni Schwartz said inmate Justin Kondo was arrested Wednesday afternoon after failing to return to the OCCC at 8 p.m. Tuesday.

Kondo is serving time for first-degree burglary and unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle. His parole hearing is scheduled for July 15.

CORRECTION: An earlier version of this story misidentified the individual serving time for buglary and unauthorized entry. He is Justin Kondo, not Toni Schwartz.
