Hawaii County police arrest peeping Tom suspect

After a four-month investigation, Hawaii County police believe they have captured a peeping Tom.

Officers arrested a 15-year-old boy suspected of peering into windows in the Waikoloa Village area.

The youth was arrested Wednesday  on suspicion of fourth-degree sexual assault, which applies to “peeping Tom” type activities.

He was released to the custody of his parents, pending further investigation.

The incidents occurred from June through October, South Kohala police said.
