Hawaii island man released in Puna stabbing case
A 57-year-old Pahoa man arrested in connection with the stabbing of a 32-year-old man in Puna on Thursday has been released pending further investigation.
The stabbing reportedly occurred Thursday in the Hawaiian Paradise Park subdivision. The victim, who suffered stab wounds to the abdomen, was flown to the Queen’s Medical Center, where he has been upgraded to serious but stable condition.
