Visitation cancelled at Waiawa Correctional Facility
The Department of Public Safety cancelled regularly scheduled visitation to the Waiawa Correctional Facility on Saturday.
Such cancellations have been an almost weekly occurrence this year as a result of ongoing staffing shortages as the department battles chronic absenteeism.
Visitation at Waiawa has been rescheduled for Sunday.
