Oregon man dies in apparent drowning off Maui
A 79-year-old visitor from Eugene, Ore., died in an apparent drowning in waters off Ulua Beach in Kihei, Maui, on Monday.
Maui police said Donald Bick was snorkeling before he was found floating face down about 50 yards offshore.
Witnesses pulled Bick from the water and performed CPR until paramedics arrived.
The cause of death is undetermined pending an autopsy.
