Homeless man charged with assaulting police officer in Aiea
A 25-year-old homeless man was charged Thursday after he allegedly assaulted a police officer in Aiea Wednesday afternoon.
Police said the officer suffered minor injuries while attempting to serve the suspect with outstanding contempt warrants.
Travas Goodrich, originally arrested on suspicion of misdemeanor resisting arrest, was charged with first-degree assault on a law enforcement officer. Bail was set at $25,000.
