Missing opihi picker apparently drowns off Hilo
A missing opihi picker was found floating face down Monday in waters fronting Hale Kahakai in Hilo.
Fire Department divers found the man in his 50s who was last seen about 1:45 p.m.
The victim was taken by a rescue boat to the Wailoa Boat Ramp. The body was turned over to police for an accident investigation.
