Waianae’s Max Holloway will fight Charles Oliveira in the main event of a UFC Fight Night card on August 23 at the SaskTel Centre in Saskatoon, Canada, the UFC announced Monday.

Holloway (13-3, 9-3 UFC) has won six consecutive fights to earn a main event slot for the first time. The 145-pound fight will be a five-rounder.

Holloway is ranked No. 5 in the UFC at featherweight while Oliveira (20-4, 8-4), who has won four in a row, is ranked seventh.

Oliveira ranks fourth all-time in the UFC with seven victories by submission. Both fighters are tied with two others for the most finishes all-time in the UFC featherweight division with seven.

The main card will air live on Fox Sports 1 at 3 p.m. Hawaii time.
